Job summary

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare in Auckland seeks a customer-focused ICT Infrastructure specialist to lead and implement project-based work, resolving complex technical issues and ensuring reliable services across a global team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years senior ICT infrastructure experience in a large environment (AD, Windows clustering, Azure).
• Experience managing infrastructure and data centres for performance and capacity.
• Backup & Recovery knowledge, preferably with Veeam.
• A security mindset applied to design and implementation of infrastructure.
• Bachelors degree in Information Systems or Computer Science (or similar).

We have an exciting opportunity for a customer focused individual to lead and implement project-based work. This work will include resolving complex technical issues and ensuring that our ICT services are running reliably in a globally focused Infrastructure team.

On a day-to-day basis you will be balancing improvement project work and be responsible for providing real time assurance that business applications and infrastructure are working correctly. You'll have the opportunity to make the most of your incident and problem management skills and your eye for improvement to identify gaps and changing needs around capacity and performance.

Let’s Talk About Your Capability And Experience

• 5+ years Senior experience in an ICT Infrastructure team supporting a large environment – Active Directory, Windows Cluster, Azure, File System, Backups, DNS, and DHCP etc.
• Experience managing Infrastructure and Data Centres for performance and capacity, particularly in the areas of administration, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Backup & Recovery knowledge – preferably in Veeam Suite.
• A security mindset that applies to any of your design and implementation of infrastructure
• Preferably you have Bachelors degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, (or similar fields)
