Qualifications

• Experience as a rigger and ideally a welder for steel commercial construction in New Zealand.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction drawings to assemble steel structures.
• Operate cranes to position steel components.
• Perform MIG and stick welding to join steel components.
• Use cutting torches for shaping steel.
• Conduct quality checks to meet safety standards.
• Comply with safety regulations and use PPE.
• Collaborate with team members for timely completion.
• Work on various sites throughout Auckland.
