SeaLink Travel Group is seeking an experienced Lead Storemen / Fork Hoist Operator to support daily logistics operations serving Waiheke and Great Barrier Island. You will oversee loading/unloading, scanning, and documentation to meet sailing schedules, with a focus on safety and accuracy.
The role requires forklift and Class 1 licences, DG and First Aid certificates, and the ability to manage time and lead a small team while working early morning shifts; some Saturdays may be required.
We're seeking an experienced and hands-on Lead Storemen / Fork Hoist Operator to support the day-to-day operations of our logistics division servicing Waiheke and Great Barrier Islands.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth, safe and compliant handling of all inbound and outbound freight. You will oversee the accurate documentation/scanning of all inbound/outbound freight, while ensuring freight is loaded securely and ready on time to meet daily sailing schedules.
This role operates primarily Monday to Friday, with start times between 5am and 6:00am and finishing between 3:00pm and 4:00pm. There may be occasional Saturday work required to support operational requirements, including weather-related sailing disruptions.
