SeaLink NZ is seeking an experienced Lead Storemen / Fork Hoist Operator to support daily warehouse and yard operations across Waiheke and Great Barrier Island. You will oversee inbound/outbound freight documentation, ensure loads are secured and ready for sailing schedules.
Role requires forklift licence, Dangerous Goods Certificate, Class 1 licence, and a proactive supervisor mindset; you’ll guide the team and maintain safety and accuracy on site, with early start times.
We're seeking an experienced and hands‑on Lead Storemen / Fork Hoist Operator to support the day‑to‑day operations of our logistics division servicing Waiheke and Great Barrier Islands.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth, safe and compliant handling of all inbound and outbound freight. You will oversee the accurate documentation/scanning of all inbound/outbound freight, while ensuring freight is loaded securely and ready on time to meet daily sailing schedules.
This role operates primarily Monday to Friday, with start times between 5am and 6:00am and finishing between 3:00pm and 4:00pm. There may be occasional Saturday work required to support operational requirements, including weather‑related sailing disruptions.
