Job summary

INTEC Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Site Construction Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of a landmark utility-scale solar project in the Auckland region. Based north of Auckland, you will oversee civil, mechanical and electrical works and coordinate subcontractors and site teams.

You will develop short-term construction programmes, manage interfaces between disciplines, drive safety and quality, and work with the Project Manager to maintain momentum toward milestones and

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional construction management experience on power plant projects.
• Experience as Site or Construction Manager on at least one completed utility-scale solar project.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction delivery across civil, mechanical and electrical works on site.
• Develop and drive short-term construction programmes, resources and priorities; identify risks and implement recovery strategies.
• Drive and manage subcontractors and site teams, monitor performance, productivity, quality and HSQE compliance.
• Coordinate interfaces between civil, mechanical and electrical works to support milestones and energisation.
• Support commissioning, punch-list close-out and project handover, ensuring documentation is complete.
