Job summary

AB Equipment, Christchurch, is seeking a Leading Hand to oversee a team of Service Technicians and Apprentices. You will work autonomously in the field or workshop, champion safety, and ensure quality workmanship while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Familiarity with CE products, electrical circuits, and hydraulics is essential, as is a customer-focused, can-do attitude and the ability to drive a high-performance safety culture.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising service technicians and apprentices.
• Familiarity with current CE products and equipment.
• Solid knowledge of electronic/electrical circuits and hydraulics.
• Customer service focus with a can-do team attitude.
• Quality control ensuring workmanship to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate a team of Service Technicians and Apprentices.
• Maintain relationships with external and internal customers.
• Ensure safety culture and high performance in the workshop and in the field.
• Provide hands-on guidance to achieve quality workmanship.
