Job summary

Presbyterian Support Otago (Holmdene) in Balclutha is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a fixed-term role to support our Enliven care home. You will lead a shift of Care Workers and Enrolled Nurses, provide comprehensive nursing care, and develop integrated care plans promoting independence and quality of life.

The ideal candidate will be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with current practicing, strong clinical and leadership skills, and experience with InterRAI assessments.

Qualifications

• Be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with current practicing certificate.
• Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with InterRAI assessment is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of care workers and enrolled nurses to deliver nursing care.
• Develop, implement and evaluate an integrated plan of health care for residents.
• Make clinical decisions in the best interests of residents’ wellbeing and safety.
• Promote independence and quality of life for residents.
