Job summary

Align is seeking a senior property leader based in our Newmarket office to guide the Auckland property team. You will oversee project delivery, provide strategic property advice, and strengthen client relationships while growing Align's presence across Auckland.

The role requires a relevant property or law qualification, leadership experience, and strong knowledge of the Public Works Act. A collaborative, growth-minded approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Property or Law and related industry experience.
• Leadership or staff management experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the Public Works Act (1981) and related legislation.
• Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders on development and infrastructure projects.
• Proven property acquisition advisory experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; GIS and mapping tools are helpful.
• NZ residency or citizenship and a full NZ driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver property projects, providing strategic property advice to clients.
• Support an Auckland Property team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and project oversight.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture and staff development.
• Assist with recruitment and growth of the Auckland team and new opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
