Job summary

Webuild in Christchurch is seeking a Project Manager to lead a major package within the Christchurch Men's Prison Redevelopment Project. Based in Templeton, you will guide multidisciplinary teams across construction delivery, ensuring objectives are met safely, on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in a similar senior project leadership role.
• Strong problem-solving capability.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of project objectives across assigned work areas.
• Provide leadership and direction to multidisciplinary project teams.
• Drive programme performance and proactively manage delivery risks and constraints.
• Coordinate effectively across construction, engineering, commercial, planning and project controls functions.
• Support quality, programme, safety and commercial outcomes.
• Ensure work aligns with governance, contractual and compliance requirements.
• Build strong working relationships with project stakeholders, subcontractors and consortium partners.
• Support project strategy and senior decision-making as a member of the leadership team.
