You will manage day-to-day production, mentor foremen and staff, oversee labour utilisation and budgeting, and ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and WHS.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Processing management within food manufacturing.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
• In-depth knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and WHS.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Hands-on approach with a focus on culture, safety, and quality.
• Ability to analyse data and drive efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production operations ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output.
• Lead and mentor Foremen, team leaders, and production staff.
• Oversee labour utilisation, rostering, and performance reporting.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and health & safety standards.
• Implement process improvements to reduce waste and maximise throughput.
• Manage budgets for labour, stock adjustments, trials, and overtime.
• Conduct performance reviews, succession planning, and staff training.
• Collaborate across departments to achieve operational and strategic goals.
