Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Technical and Process Engineering Manager to guide a team of Process Engineers and Technologists in Dairy Manufacturing Operations. You will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement across packaging, processing, and regulatory compliance.

You will work closely with Operations, R&D, Quality and Supply Chain to deliver successful product launches, improve product quality, and reduce waste in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, food science or similar.
• Master’s degree in applicable field preferred.
• Continuous improvement mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strategy and systems thinking with project leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Process Engineers and Process Technologists/Scientists in Nutritional Powder/Dairy Manufacturing Operations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for process and product issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce waste.
• Support plant trials for new products and process improvements.
• Lead process engineering projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure successful product launches.
