Job summary

Ryman Healthcare in Christchurch is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead the delivery of interior design projects across development, refurbishment, and existing village portfolios on a 12-month fixed term. You will work closely with internal teams, external consultants, suppliers and contractors to create practical, well-considered design outcomes that enhance residents’ experience.

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering interior design projects across retirement living or related sectors.
Experience developing and coordinating interior layouts, finishes, materials, joinery, furniture and FF&E.
Strong project delivery skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Experience coordinating consultants, suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead interior design delivery of allocated projects from briefing and concept through to documentation and completion.
Develop and coordinate interior layouts, finishes, materials, joinery, furniture and FF&E per project requirements.
Collaborate with project teams, consultants and stakeholders to ensure designs are coordinated and practical.
Deliver design solutions within budgets and programmes, balancing design quality and functionality.
Review design information, samples and substitutions, and provide input during construction.
