Aurecon invites an experienced Hydraulics/Fire Protection Engineer to join its Building Services team. You will lead hydraulics and/or fire protection design for significant local and international projects, working with a multidisciplinary team across New Zealand and beyond.

We value specialists capable of delivering integrated services from concept through construction, including gravity drainage, domestic hot/cold water, stormwater and fire protection systems. Flexible working is supported.

Competenze

• Demonstrated expertise in hydraulics and/or fire protection with ability to lead complex projects.
• Proven track record designing building services systems including water distribution, drainage and fire protection.
• Six+ years in building services consulting or equivalent.
• Knowledge of NZ Building Code and Building Act 2004; ability to navigate consent processes.
• CPEng or sign-off authority desirable; strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

Mansioni

• Lead hydraulics and fire protection design for major projects from concept through construction.
• Develop practical solutions for drainage, water supply, stormwater and fire protection.
• Translate architecture and project requirements into coordinated, buildable services designs.
• Provide technical guidance, design reviews and coaching to project teams.
• Collaborate with architects and clients to resolve design challenges across NZ, Australia, and Asia.
