Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of agentic AI solutions inside enterprise environments. You’ll drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and set engineering standards that scale across teams, partnering with Deployment Strategists to shape AI strategy and adoption.

You’ll bring 6+ years of software delivery, proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex, and experience with LLMs and tools like LangChain.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS environments.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Expertise in at least one language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex) and familiarity with the others.
• Experience integrating LLMs into production and using tools like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Deep experience in data modeling, processing, and analytics with platforms like Snowflake or Databricks.
• Salesforce platform expertise: Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions for strategic customers, from architecture decisions to production handoff.
• Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform, including multi-agent orchestration and deterministic guardrails.
• Own the data lifecycle for AI applications across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Resolve blockers in data integration, model deployment, and orchestration to protect deployment health and outcomes.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and shared work; drive engineering standards across teams.
