CoverMe Phone Repair in Ashburton, Canterbury, is seeking an experienced Electronics Repair Technician for a full-time, permanent role. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile devices, tablets, and computers, while assisting customers with repair options and costs.

The role includes managing parts, stock, and daily store operations, with a focus on quality workmanship. We value problem-solving, strong diagnostics, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Level 4+ electronics/tech qualification or 6+ months repair experience.
• Experience repairing mobile devices and consumer electronics.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and other electronics.
• Test devices and components after repair to ensure proper function.
• Assist customers with repair options, costs, and timelines.
• Manage repair parts and stock; support day-to-day store operations.
• Work independently during shifts and take responsibility for outcomes.
