CLAAS Harvest Centre in Hamilton, NZ is seeking a motivated Workshop Manager to lead a busy on-site workshop. This permanent, full-time role reports to the Regional Branch Manager and focuses on managing daily service and repair operations while ensuring high-quality customer outcomes.

You will guide technicians, mentor apprentices, and drive a culture of safe, efficient work. The successful candidate will combine strong leadership with hands-on automotive expertise and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a workshop environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort with computer systems and administration tasks.
• Driver's licence held.
• Positive attitude with a focus on team development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day workshop operations with Regional Branch Manager.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians on-site and remotely.
• Coach and develop team members to maintain high workmanship and reduce rework.
• Mentor apprentices and support their training and development.
• Foster a collaborative, safe work culture with emphasis on health and safety.
• Lead by example in delivering high-quality service and repair work to customers.
