Keep In Contact in Hamilton Central Waikato is seeking an experienced Foreman - Diesel Technician to lead a team of diesel technicians while remaining hands-on with diesel engine maintenance and repair. This full-time role focuses on running an efficient workshop, upholding high workmanship standards and driving productivity across servicing operations.

Qualifications

• Qualified diesel technician with experience in diesel engine diagnostics and repair.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a workshop setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers and team.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workshop operations and ensure diesel service work meets standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of diesel technicians and support their growth.
• Manage workflow and scheduling to maximise productivity and timely completion.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain records of work, parts and labour hours.
