Waitaki Heavy Ltd in Oamaru North Otago is seeking a Workshop Foreman (Senior Commercial Vehicle Technician) to join our team. This full-time role focuses on leading skilled technicians in the servicing and maintenance of heavy diesel vehicles.

We value practical hands-on leadership, diagnostic excellence, and customer-focused service; the successful candidate will mentor apprentices and help maintain safety and quality standards in a well-equipped workshop.

Qualifications

• Heavy Diesel Qualification with 10+ years' experience post trade.
• Strong mechanical capability and technical skills, including diagnosing faults and servicing heavy Commercial Vehicles
• Excellent diagnostic ability and analytical thinking to navigate complex issues and deliver high-quality outcomes
• Confident computer literacy and a committed, customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to lead a team of Technicians and apprentices and support them with knowledge of the industry

Responsibilities
