You will lead a diverse coaching team, develop progression pathways, ensure safety and child protection compliance, and foster community involvement across the Waikato region.

Qualifications

• Senior coach with national-level experience in swimming clubs or schools
• Track record of developing swimmers toward national or international events
• Coaching accreditation, First Aid, and lifeguard training
• Strong communication with diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Swim Club with an annual student-centric program
• Devise a coherent strategy and plan for performance and inclusion
• Coach and develop the swim coaching team
• Oversee all levels and create progression plans
• Set swimmer objectives from introduction to elite, advancing to national programs
• Maintain relationships with committee, parents, and community groups
• Ensure compliance with Child Protection and Health & Safety requirements
