Job summary

OFI is seeking a Project Manager in Tokoroa, NZ to plan and execute fixed capital projects from scoping through completion. This role reports to the Operations Manager with matrix to Regional or BU Engineering Head.

You will lead the project team, maintain plans, manage risks, budgets, and stakeholder engagement to deliver on time and within budget, while aligning with sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or FMCG.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, risks, and stakeholder relationships.
• Experience with HAZOP, GMP, WHS regulations and codes of practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of project plans.
• Record and monitor risks, issues, decisions, and interdependencies.
• Manage budgets and purchase orders for the project.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement to achieve outcomes.
• Schedule and run project steering groups with updates and reports.
• Ensure alignment with sustainable development goals across project phases.
• Future-proof designs within the master planning framework.
• Provide leadership to the project team.
• Ensure all deliverables and performance guarantees are met.
• Prepare summary reports and changes; manage punch-list items.
