Fonterra Co-operative Group is seeking an Engineering Project Manager (Senior) to lead capital projects across Lower South Island sites. Hybrid work model offered with a focus on safety, reliability and operational excellence.

You will manage scopes, budgets and schedules, influence stakeholders, and mentor teams while delivering large-scale programmes that support our world-class dairy network across New Zealand.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience delivering capital projects in industrial environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Experience developing project scopes, budgets, schedules and business cases from inception through to completion.
• Proven ability to manage consultants, suppliers and contractors through design, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Excellent organisational prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
• A strong commitment to health, safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver capital projects in fast-paced manufacturing, food processing, dairy, industrial, utilities or comparable environments.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules and business cases from inception to handover.
• Coordinate consultants, suppliers and contractors through design, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships and drive health, safety, quality and continuous improvement.
