The University of Canterbury’s Te Kaupeka Ture | Faculty of Law in Ōtautahi, Christchurch invites a part-time Student Advisor to join the Academic Services team. Reporting to the Academic Services Manager, you will provide guidance on degree programmes and support student progression.

You will engage with students to monitor performance, assist with enrolment and admissions processes, and contribute to outreach and marketing activities.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with students in tertiary study.
• Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
• High competence in MS Office suite, CRM and email technologies and databases.
• Experience in managing a diverse workload, and tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of University regulations, interpretation and application of policies and procedures.
• Alignment with our organisation's values and culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Aufgaben

• Provide advice and assistance to students relating to degree programmes offered by the Faculty of Law.
• Support student development through individualised support and engagement programmes including monitoring student performance.
• Assist the Academic Services Manager with enrolment, admissions, student-related administration, marketing and outreach.
