Job summary

Rocket Lab seeks an Integrated Operations Engineer I/II to support testing and launch operations for Electron and Photon programs. You will prepare for pre‑launch activities, develop procedures, and coordinate execution on‑console with紧密 communication across teams.

The role requires a degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering and 2-5+ years in engineering design, test, and/or operations, with hands-on experience in mechanical systems and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

  • Aerospace or mechanical engineering degree required.
  • 2-5+ years in engineering design, test and/or operations.
  • Experience with mechanical systems such as structures, propulsion, hydraulics, pneumatics, or instrumentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for and conduct testing, pre‑launch operations, and launch operations.
  • Define test and operations requirements.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute plans and procedures to safely conduct testing, operations, and flight.
  • Conduct test and operations on‑console with real‑time communications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve test and operations issues in real‑time.
  • Perform failure investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
  • Perform post‑test and post‑flight data review and analyses.
  • Continually improve integration, testing, and operations.
  • Domestic and international travel will be required.
