Job summary

Rocket Lab is hiring for software developers to support production automation and test systems for spacecraft components. You will collaborate with avionics and manufacturing engineers to develop and improve software used to functionally test Electron, Neutron, and space-system programs.

You will work with stakeholders through development and production phases, supporting test rigs and evaluating results. A passion for embedded systems and a willingness to learn a broad tech stack are valued.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Diploma, Certificate or degree in Software-/Electrical-/Mechatronics-Engineering, Computer Science or demonstrated equivalent level of knowledge
• Proficient in English

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with avionics and manufacturing engineers to develop, improve and support software-applications to functionally test spacecraft-components and systems for launch vehicles and space-system programs.
• Work with stakeholders during development and production phases on new components and test rigs.
• Assist with evaluating test result data and contribute to test rig bring-up and maintenance.
