Job summary

Neocrete, a New Zealand startup, offers a paid 10-week internship for students in engineering, science or technology. You will gain hands-on experience in concrete testing, data analysis and reporting while contributing to our low-carbon additive technology.

The program runs November to early March (approximately 400 hours) at $29.90 per hour. Applicants should be near the end of their degree or recently graduated and able to work in NZ.

Qualifications

• Experience with concrete testing (preferred but not mandatory)
• Currently studying engineering (civil or chemical), science or technology
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Hands-on lab work experience (e.g., mixing concrete)
• Detail-oriented with good data analysis and Excel basics
• Comfortable following standard procedures and lab safety

Responsibilities

• Test concrete, analyse results and contribute to reports influencing our technology and product adoption
• Collaborate in a startup environment where things move quickly
• Maintain lab safety and follow standard procedures
