Job summary

Neocrete is hiring a master's graduate for a hands-on role in our R&D testing team. You will test concrete, analyze results and contribute to customer reports influencing our technology and product adoption.

We operate in a fast-growing startup culture focused on sustainability and low-carbon concrete solutions; 40 hours per week, salary $60,000 NZD per year, based in Auckland.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience with concrete testing (preferred but not necessary)
• Holds an engineering masters degree, ideally civil or chemical engineering
• Works well in a collaborative team setting
• Is comfortable with hands-on practical work in a lab. (e.g. mixing concrete)
• Excited by working in a startup atmosphere where things move quickly and change often.
• Has strong attention to detail and good communication skills
• Is comfortable with basic Excel and data analysis
• Can follow standard procedures and work safely in a lab environment

You must have

• Recently completed your masters degree in engineering
• Be either a New Zealand citizen, or have received your master's from a New Zealand university or tertiary education institution
• Have submitted a thesis for marking or have completed course requirement for taught master's less than 12 months ago.

Full time role: 40 hours per week

Pay: $60,000
