Job summary

Kiwi Lumber Group is seeking a Processing Operator based in Gisborne to support our timber processing operations at the Drymill. Key duties include building and stacking timber packets, performing quality checks, and documenting outcomes.

You will have at least three years of proven timber processing or timber machine operation experience, a positive can-do attitude, and a commitment to safety, quality standards, and production targets. Sound numeracy and written skills are also required.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Processing Operator to assist with our timber processing operations. Based in the Drymill, the key duties include:

• Assisting the team with other duties as required

The role has a direct impact on our production levels and quality and therefore plays an important part in the overall success of the mill.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of proven experience with either timber processing or timber machine operation in a manufacturing environment, sawmill or similar.

You’ll also have a positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to undertake work in a safe and efficient way to ensure our health and safety, quality standards and production requirements are met.

Sound written and numeracy skills will also be required.
