Job summary

Waipapa Pine, part of Fletcher Building, seeks a Timber Processing Manager to lead secondary processing operations at its Waipapa site in Northland. You will oversee a 26-strong team across the dry mill, kilns, pellet plant and finished goods, ensuring safe, efficient production and quality outcomes.

• Proven leadership in a timber processing or similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience overseeing multiple production lines and departments.
• Strong understanding of production flow, plant utilisation, quality and downtime.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across secondary processing, including dry mill, kilns, pellet plant and finished goods.
• Lead a team of 26 through supervisors with focus on safety, efficiency and performance outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimise site performance with the leadership team.
• Build credible relationships and maintain accountability standards on the floor.
