Job summary

Ayrburn Precinct – Arrowtown, South Island is expanding its hospitality team and inviting applications for Kitchen Hands to support our multiple-venue operation. You will contribute to food preparation and dishwashing while embracing a hands-on role in a busy commercial kitchen.

No formal qualifications or prior experience are required; full training will be provided, with 30+ hours per week, night and weekend shifts, and staff meals and discounts on food and beverage as part of the benefits

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required; training will be provided.
• Experience in food handling practices is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation in a busy commercial kitchen.
• Part of the production line of a commercial kitchen.
• Cleaning kitchens, dishes, food preparation areas and sculleries.
• Cleaning cooking and general utensils used in kitchens and restaurants.
• Support the team during service periods and maintain high hygiene standards.
• This role requires availability for nights and weekends, with 30+ hours per week.
