Job summary

Grand Millennium Auckland, part of Millennium Hotels and Resorts, is looking for a Kitchen Attendant to help keep the kitchen running smoothly and safely. This role goes beyond washing dishes and supports a team delivering exceptional guest experiences daily.

As a Kitchen Attendant you’ll maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment, assist with basic food preparation, and help uphold health and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• An eye for cleanliness and detail.
• Friendly and team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility with a variable roster, including AM and PM shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Previous hospitality or kitchen experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Wash crockery, cutlery, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness (floors, walls, fridges, and storage areas).
• Manage waste and recycling processes.
• Assist with basic food preparation as directed by chefs.
• Support health & safety and hygiene standards at all times.
