Job summary

Arvida in Christchurch, NZ, is seeking a friendly Kitchen Assistant to deliver efficient food service to residents and support the Head Chef. You will help with meal prep, cooking, heating, and dishwashing while keeping the kitchen clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen or similar environment.
• Hours are 1.30pm - 6.30pm.
• Days will range across the week and include weekends.
• Must be flexible to pick up extra shifts.
• Must have experience in food preparation and plating for service.
• Highly motivated, able to take initiative, and flexible.
• Great hygiene standards and commitment to health and safety.
• Ability to work closely with, and support, colleagues

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient food service to residents.
