Job summary

Learning Adventures Ashhurst is seeking a warm and enthusiastic Kaiako to join our preschool team. You'll help create nurturing learning moments and build strong relationships with tamariki and whanau on a daily basis.

Located in Ashhurst, we value collaboration, professional growth, and a child-centred approach, with opportunities to study toward an ECE qualification and to gain experience across age groups.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an early childhood setting is preferred.
• Interest in pursuing an ECE qualification and ongoing professional development.
• Warm, positive, relationship-focused with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support a preschool room and contribute to meaningful daily learning experiences.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with tamariki and whānau.

Located in the heart of Ashhurst, our centre enjoys strong community connections and spacious outdoor environments that inspire exploration, imagination, and a love of learning. As a small centre, teamwork is at the heart of what we do, and our kaiako work together to create meaningful learning experiences for every child.
