Taitoko School in Manawatū-Whanganui invites a junior school teacher for 2027 to cover classroom teaching while a permanent staff member undertakes temporary full-time release from classroom duties during 2027.

You will teach across Years 1–8 in English, health and physical education, learning languages, mathematics, science, social sciences, technology, te reo Māori and the arts. We value relationships, belonging and collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NZ teaching registration or be eligible.
• Experience teaching in years 1–8 junior primary.
• Commitment to structured literacy and quality mathematics teaching.
