Job summary

Albany Toyota is seeking a Junior Parts superstar to join the busy Albany branch. You will work Monday to Friday with a rostered Saturday 8am to 12pm, and you will receive full training to develop your automotive knowledge and skills.

You will support the parts team, handle customer inquiries, quote, invoice, order parts, and ensure stock availability while delivering accurate, friendly service.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• A reasonable knowledge of cars and automotive parts.
• Be comfortable lifting and moving some heavy objects.
• Strong numerical and computer skills.
• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to develop within the automotive industry.
• Current New Zealand residency / citizenship or valid full working rights (required).

Responsibilities

• Follow through on all customer enquiries, may this be by phone, email and in person.
• Build and maintain customer relationships through excellent customer service.
• Picking parts for customer orders and checking availability of stock.
• Quoting, invoicing, and taking payments.
• Accurate ordering of parts.
• Carry out duties to a high standard in a timely and efficient manner.

Our busy Parts Department is currently on the lookout for a Junior Parts superstar!You will be in a fun team of 5 based at our Albany branch working Monday to Friday with a rostered Saturday of 8am to 12pm. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who may not have previous experience in the automotive industry but has the drive, enthusiasm and willingness to learn and grow within the role. Full training and support will be provided to help you develop your automotive knowledge and skills.
