Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Logistics Trainee / Junior Logistics Coordinator to learn and support day‑to‑day movement and organisation of equipment and stock. This entry‑level role welcomes someone keen to learn in a corporate, technology‑driven environment.

You’ll gain hands‑on experience in receiving, sorting and dispatching goods, while working with an experienced team and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• No previous logistics or warehouse experience required.
• Great first step for someone finishing school, TAFE or university, or starting a career in a corporate and technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, sort and organise incoming equipment and stock
• Help prepare and dispatch outgoing goods
• Use computer systems to check stock quantities and locations
• Assist with regular stocktakes
• Pack and physically move goods when required
• Help keep the work area organised, clean and safe
• Respond to basic questions about where stock is and its progress
• Work with different people across the team to make sure equipment gets where it needs to go
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
