Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking a customer-focused IT support specialist to be the first line of contact for clients in Wellington. You will handle face-to-face and ticketed requests, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolutions.

You will travel locally within Wellington, work on-site at client locations, and be part of a growing team that values continuous learning and strong collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide excellent customer service and clear communication.
• Experience with diagnosing and resolving IT issues.
• Ability to document and track issues using a ticketing system.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries and provide technical support via multiple channels.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by clients.
• Document and track client issues using a ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams and follow up until resolution.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate support.
