New Era Technology NZ in Auckland is seeking an entry-level IT helpdesk specialist to be the first point of contact for IT issues at client sites. Based in East Auckland, you will engage with users face-to-face and manage the ticket board to ensure timely resolutions.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, complete daily timesheets, and travel between sites. This role suits someone eager to learn in a dynamic IT environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be a NZ Citizen or permanent resident.
• Must have a NZ Driver’s License (Full or Restricted).

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, chat or in person.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by clients.
• Document and track client issues using a ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams and follow up until resolution.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate and timely support.
