Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment is seeking a Junior Industrial Engineer for a fast-paced manufacturing and supply chain environment in New Zealand. You will analyze processes, convert messy data into insights, and drive improvements across the value chain from receiving to dispatch.

Ideal candidates have a strong eye for detail, experience with ERP/MES, Excel, and BI tools, and are comfortable traveling between multiple sites to implement improvements.

Qualifications

• BEng/BTech/BSc in Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing, FMCG or food production environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MES systems and production/stock reporting (Syspro experience not required).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data cleaning); exposure to Power BI or similar BI tools advantageous.
• Understanding of end-to-end production and supply chain processes: receiving, production, WIP, warehousing and dispatch.
• Working knowledge of mass balance / yield reconciliation principles in a manufacturing environment.
• Valid driver's license and own transport, given multi-site travel requirements.
