About the Role

Our client, an established engineering firm focused on infrastructure development, is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape . This hybrid role allows for a combination of on-site collaboration and remote work, offering a balanced approach to project involvement. You will support senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for various projects, including power distribution, building services, and telecommunications. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with design calculations, producing technical drawings, conducting site inspections, and participating in project meetings. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the design and development of electrical systems, including power, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
• Perform basic electrical design calculations and simulations under supervision.

• Support the procurement process by assisting with material take-offs and specifications.
• Conduct site visits to gather information, observe installations, and assist with inspections.
• Participate in project team meetings and contribute to discussions on design and implementation.
• Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Compile data for technical reports and documentation.
• Adhere to company standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Learn and apply relevant engineering principles and software tools.

Requirements
