Job summary

A leading provider of automated solutions in Auckland is looking for a Junior Mechanical Technician to manage operations and maintenance of baggage conveyor systems at Auckland Airport. This permanent role supports a stable team environment and requires relevant industrial experience. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining the baggage system, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping accurate records. Applicants must have a full driver's license and troubleshooting skills. The position involves rotating shifts from 2am to 2pm and 2pm to 2am.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience to be able to work in an industrial environment.
• Comfortable with shift work and operating machinery.
• Experience with maintenance of equipment and welding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the baggage system in accordance with Service Level agreements.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate operational records.
