Max George Joiners is seeking an experienced Joiner/Cabinetmaker to join our skilled team in Blenheim Central, Marlborough. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of kitchen, joinery and cabinet-making projects. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality bespoke joinery solutions to our clients, utilizing both traditional craftsmanship and modern techniques. This position is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and precision in the local joinery market. Experience using CNC, cabinet vision or similar software would be an advantage.

What you'll be doing

• Crafting top quality kitchens and joinery including custom cabinets, wardrobes shop fittings, benchtops . Generally a wide variety custom joinery products including wardrobes, bespoke furniture and other joinery installations.
• Often you will be installing your own projects and dealing with our clients.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Joiner or Cabinetmaker, ideally with 3+ years of hands-on experience in the trade
• Proficiency with both hand tools and machinery .
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering precision craftsmanship
• Solid understanding of workshop safety practices and relevant health and safety regulations
• A valid driver's license to attend client sites as required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients
• 8. Desirable: Experience with CAD design software.
