Job summary

EmployMe Solutions is recruiting for an experienced JLR Technician to join a client’s workshop across New Zealand. The role involves servicing, diagnosing, and repairing Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles to a high standard.

You’ll work with cutting-edge diagnostic equipment, maintain records, and collaborate with a professional team in a modern workshop environment. A strong passion for automotive engineering and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a JLR Technician or Automotive Technician.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working with modern vehicle technology.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A genuine passion for automotive engineering.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Relevant automotive qualifications and/or proven industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs on JLR vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair faults across JLR vehicles.
• Use modern diagnostic equipment and technology.
• Complete vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Identify faults accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Work closely with the wider workshop team.
• Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment.
