WeBuild is seeking a Communications and Iwi Engagement Lead for the Christchurch Prison Redevelopment project, with responsibilities spanning stakeholder engagement, iwi liaison, and communications management. The role reports to the People & Culture Manager and is based in Templeton, Christchurch, with relocation support available.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 7-10 years' experience in communications, stakeholder engagement or public affairs.
• Experience delivering stakeholder engagement programmes on major infrastructure or public sector projects.
• Experience with iwi/Māori or cultural engagement initiatives.

Aufgaben

• Lead implementation of the project's Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Plan.
• Develop and deliver communication and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Coordinate engagement activities across design, construction, commissioning and handover phases.
• Build and maintain relationships with mana whenua, iwi representatives, communities and government stakeholders.
• Coordinate newsletters, briefings and stakeholder correspondence.
• Manage stakeholder databases and engagement records.
• Act as primary contact for stakeholder enquiries and issue resolution.
• Support community meetings and engagement forums.
• Prepare governance reports and engagement performance reporting.
