Job summary

IAG, a leading general insurance group in Australia and New Zealand, is seeking two Iteration Managers for a technology transformation. Based in Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington, you will drive agile delivery across complex platforms, align diverse stakeholders and coach teams through change to deliver measurable outcomes.

You will partner with technology teams and external providers, manage delivery cadences, dependencies and risks, and report on progress to enable informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading agile delivery across technology, platform or transformation environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across diverse groups.
• Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, feedback and capability development.
• Confidence navigating ambiguity and helping teams adapt during organisational change.
• Experience balancing operational priorities with delivery commitments and competing demands.
• Strong communication, reporting and governance capabilities that create clarity and momentum.
• Understanding of technology transformation, platform modernisation or legacy system transition programs.

We're currently recruiting for two Iteration Manager opportunities as part of a significant technology transformation focused on modernising platforms, simplifying technology environments, and supporting the transition away from legacy systems. You'll work with a broad mix of stakeholders, delivery teams and partners, helping people stay aligned, focused and moving forward in an environment that's evolving quickly.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), Ōtautahi (Christchurch) or Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington).
