Job summary

James Pascoe Group of Companies is seeking an entry-level IT Help Desk specialist to support internal customers across Support Centres, Stores, and a Distribution Centre in NZ and AU. You will answer calls, log requests, and troubleshoot a range of POS, network, and desktop issues.

The role emphasises quick learning, strong customer service, and autonomy in a busy support environment, with roster-based shifts including late nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have previous IT Helpdesk experience.
• A quick learner and self-motivated.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Comfortable with answering technical questions and logging requests.
• Able to stay calm under pressure in a busy Help Desk role.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls and log requests in ServiceDesk Plus.
• Troubleshoot POS hardware, applications, printers, networks, and desktops.
• Log and manage access requests and user accounts.
• Liaise with third party service providers and second level support teams.
• Provide efficient, accurate support to minimize business impact and productivity loss.
• Adapt to roster-based shifts, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
