Job summary

Mitre 10 Ponsonby is seeking a hands-on Inwards Goods Co-ordinator to maximise efficiency in the goods flow and contribute to quality customer service. The role focuses on accurate receipt and processing of stock, storage, and coordination of deliveries within a busy store environment.

Ideal candidates will have SAP experience or warehousing knowledge, be tech-literate, and demonstrate safety-first practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP is advantageous.
• Experience in inwards goods and/or warehousing practices.
• Comfort with using computers and mobile devices to pick up systems quickly.
• Ability to resolve claims confidently.
• Good spatial awareness to maximise storage space.
• Safety-first mindset; follow all H&S requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process all stock entering and leaving the store via inwards goods accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse/back door environment.
• Accept and receipt all goods entering the stores accurately and on time.
• Coordinate delivery, storage and receipt of materials, equipment, merchandise and supplies.
• Work with supply partners to address faulty products, repairs or credits.
• Ensure goods are stored correctly to minimise health and safety risks.
• Protect the Mitre10 brand image by delivering excellent customer service.

Job description

This is a key role in our Ponsonby store and is focused on contributing to the overall success of thebusiness by maximising the efficiency of the Inwards Goods operation while alsocontributing and providing quality customer service.

The focus of this hands-on role is:

• Ensuring all stockentering and leaving the store via inwards goods is processed in an accurateand timely manner. Utilising all systems and process in conjunction withthis requirement
  
• Maintain a cleanand orderly warehouse / back door environment
• Accept andaccurately receipt all goods entering the stores in an accurate and timelymanner
• Coordinate thedelivery, storage and receipt of materials, equipment, merchandise andsupplies
• Work with oursupply partners to address any faulty product, repairs or credits
• Ensure goods arestored correctly to minimize health and safety risks
• Ensure the Mitre10 brand image is protected by delivering excellence in customer service alwaysacting in the best interests of the Company

Ideally, we are after someone with:

• Experience in SAP operating systems is an advantage in this space.
• Experience in inwards goods and/or warehousing practices.
• Comfort using computer and mobile devices – you will be able to pick up our systems quickly
• Ability to resolve claims in a confident manner.
• Good spatial awareness – able to maximise storage space.
• A safety-first ethos and prepared to follow all H&S requirements.
  

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week)Monday to Friday role with only occasion need for weekend work as season demands.
