Job summary

Mitre 10 Waihi is seeking an Inwards Goods Team Member on a fixed-term, full-time basis. You will receive, check, and process incoming stock, keeping accurate records and ensuring items are ready for the floor. A helpful, team-focused attitude is essential for smooth stock movement and warehouse efficiency.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a hands-on approach, and solid communication skills, plus forklift endorsement and a NZ driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and good computer literacy.
• Hands-on attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous storeroom, inventory, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Current OSH forklift endorsement essential.
• Full New Zealand Driver's Licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Accurately check, receipt, and record all incoming goods.
• Ensure stock is correctly labelled, stored, and available for the team.
• Work closely with other departments to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Undertake physical tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
• Support a safe, organised, and efficient warehouse environment.
