Job summary

CARTERS Queenstown is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an inwards goods and customer service co-ordinator. You will be the first checkpoint for every delivery, checking, receiving and recording all inwards goods movements, and ensuring best practice processes are followed.

You will thrive with strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organised during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritise and stay organised, especially during busy periods.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Previous experience in a trade, building supplies, or warehouse environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Checking off and receipting materials accurately.
• Recording all inwards goods movements and ensuring information is entered correctly.
• Thoroughly checking deliveries and following best-practice processes.
• Ensuring goods are barcoded correctly and put away promptly.
• Identifying and tracking back orders, and keeping the team informed.
• Assisting the yard team with day-to-day operations.
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Re-stocking racks and keeping product displays tidy and well presented.
• Helping load trucks and prepare orders for dispatch.
