Job summary

Briscoes Homeware in Gisborne is seeking an experienced Storeperson to join our energetic team. You will manage all inward and outward stock, maintain accurate inventory records, and work closely with carriers to ensure timely deliveries.

We offer Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm with a full driver’s license required. You’ll contribute to a safe, tidy stockroom and be part of a busy shopping environment on the North Island.

Qualifications

• A full driver’s licence is mandatory.
• Strong focus on health and safety in the workplace.
• Exceptional attention to detail in stock handling.
• Motivated and driven to achieve in a busy retail environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Physically fit and able to cope with tasks that require endurance.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced store.

Responsibilities

• Manage all inward and outward goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Complete relevant documentation accurately.
• Keep the stockroom tidy, clean and well organised.
• Facilitate stock flow from stockroom to floor with the team.
• Promote a safe work environment for everyone.
