Farmquip Ltd is seeking an experienced Inventory Coordinator to monitor and manage inventory across the yard and warehouse. You will coordinate with suppliers, price check materials, and maintain ERP systems to ensure smooth production and delivery flows.
The role requires strong organisational skills, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team. A forklift license is preferred, and NZ residency in Hawke's Bay is required with start ASAP.

Farmquip is a local business that specilises in manufacturing quality animal handling equipment for the agricultural market. For over 20 years we have serviced the farming and hunting markets, which has led to The Rural Butcher being formed. We provide butchery supplies for those that want to process meat at home, while also servicing the commercial market. We are an innovative and leading-edge firm currently looking for an experienced Inventory Coordinator for our yard and warehouse.
Assist with ensuring all inventory/materials are monitored, ordered and received correctly to avoid delays in supply, manufacture and assembly. Assist with managing transport documentation for all outgoing and incoming shipments including co-ordination with suppliers and customers. Manage inventory and system maintenance.
Checking and receipting in all inwards goods and stock transfers
Working with suppliers to price check materials and ensure Farmquip are receiving the best price and service
Ongoing systems management internal ERP
Maintain a neat and tidy yard/warehouse
Picking and dispatching of cattle yard systems
Picking and packing a wide range of butchery supplies
Complete all paperwork requirements for outward good deliveries – including for freight companies and our own Farmquip truck
Communicate with customers and freight suppliers to organise and co-ordinate deliveries
Count and process rolling stock take requirements
Strong organisation and time management skills
Positive attitude, reliable and turns up every day
Advanced computer skills - able to work confidently with Excel, stock and purchasing software
Good communicator and team player
Physically fit and able to lift
Inventory and store management experience
Have a forklift license (or able to gain if not currently held)
We are looking for a person that is a self-starter with a positive attitude and a good work ethic.This position may require pre-employment medical and drug testing to be undertaken. You must also be a NZ resident, living in Hawkes Bay and be available to start asap.
